Keywest Estate Agents will find the ideal rental property for you and to assist you throughout the renting process. As a Letting Agent, Keywest vet our landlords and properties. We pride ourselves in forging relationships with landlords in order to provide tenants with a quality service. We also inform prospective landlords of any maintenance that may be required to bring the property up to a rentable standard before we agree to rent a property. We know there is nothing worse than viewing house after house that is nowhere near up to standard – it wastes your and our time. We aim to provide tenants with a quality, value-for-money property that they see as their home. We always keep lots of property on our books in order to be able to give you plenty of choice, whatever your budget. We rent them fast so if you do see that dream house or flat, move quickly or it will be gone.

Conduct a search of all our rental properties and view just the ones that fit your criteria and budget.
View multiple photographs and comprehensive details of every property we have available. (Click on pictures to enlarge).
Save your favourite properties to view again later.
Print off or email searches results, favourites & full property details.
Join our mailing list – simply fill in the form and we will email you details of the properties available that suit your exact criteria, at intervals chosen by you. We will not bombard you with advertising or send property details that do not match your requirements. You can un-join the mailing list any time simply by clicking the un-join button on the mailing list page.

In addition to www.keywest-estateagents.co.uk , we advertise all our properties on many property websites such as rightmove.com and propertyfinder.com.

Office

We would be pleased for you to drop in to the office and ask us if we may have the right rental property for you. We can quickly search our database and show you details and photographs of any properties you may be interested in renting. We will provide you with any printed property details you require. We can then arrange a viewing for you. We also pleased to post any details of a property you may be interested in. Simply send us an email with the property address and a name and address you wish the details to be sent to. You can also contact our friendly staff by telephone on 0116 254 4555 for any queries and assistance.

Viewing Properties

Once we have found you a property or properties that you wish to view we shall call the landlord and arrange a convenient time for you to view the property. Many of our rental properties can viewed immediately. If you wish to view several properties we will endeavour to make the viewings follow each other.
 

I’ve found the perfect property – what now?

When you find the property that is right for you to rent we will contact the landlord and inform that you wish to rent to the property. If the landlord wishes to proceed you will be asked to provide details of your employer, previous landlord and bank details in order for us to carry out credit and reference checks. Students will be asked to provide a guarantor and reference and credit checks will be carried out on the guarantor. Nobody will be rented a property without satisfying these checks. You will asked at this time to pay the reference fee. This charge is to cover the cost of carrying out the credit and reference checks. The property will be reserved until you are required to sign the tenancy agreement.

When you have satisfied credit and reference checks you will be asked to come in to the office to the sign tenancy agreement and finalise rental arrangements. At This time you will be asked to pay the Administration Fee and the Deposit/Bond for the property. The Administration Fee covers the cost of setting up the Tenancy Agreement etc. The deposit is usually equivalent to one months rent.

On the day you move you can collect the keys to the property from the office. Your first months rent is due on the day you move in and is usually payable monthly thereafter.
